The staff at the Samuel Staples Elementary School thanked everyone who supported the Paddington Project, led by the Student Senate last month. The students collectively raised $3,210.43 to be donated to the Be Homeful for the Holidays campaign by the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness. The effort provides stuffed Paddington bears, books and
blankies to children in shelters during the holidays, and supports programs throughout the year to help prevent families from becoming homeless.
