Earlier this month EMS members on the day shift responded to the report of a 92 year old female possibly having a stroke. Due to a language barrier, the dispatcher had trouble getting details. Ambulance 851 with EMT's Peter and Josh arrived on scene with home responder EMT Andrew. Along with the Easton CT Police Department and the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, they found the patient not breathing and with no pulse. CPR was immediately administered. After opening the patient's airway and two cycle's of CPR the patient had a return of spontaneous circulation.
Members loaded the patient and began transport with their AMR Bridgeport paramedic intercept. As they were en-route to the hospital the patient awoke and began talking to the crew.
